The Piano Room

About The Piano Room

The piano room is a resource site for worship leaders, small groups and musicians.

The idea is to make basic audio recordings as well as chord sheets available for download. The mp3 files can be used in small-group worship or to learn the songs, while the chord sheets are available for those wanting to play the songs.

While many of the songs are of a "corporate worship" style and are easy to sing and play, there are some which are slightly more contemporary and perhaps more suited to a listening environment.

The genesis of this site was when Jenny and I fulfilled a life-long dream of owning a grand piano. Our Kawai GE30 was delivered on Friday 04 May 2012 and our former dining-room became "The Piano Room". The idea behind this site is to allow you a glimpse into that room.

The recordings are basic. By necessity they are all "one-take" recordings, thus we make no apology for the wrong notes and the imperfect timing. Also, The Piano Room is not a studio; it is part of our house. So you might hear the hum of the fridge, the barking of a dog, or the squawk of a hadeda.

I've kicked this site off with all the tracks from my previous cd's. "Rain" (2001), "Finally Free" (2005) and "Faithful" (2010). You are welcome to download all the songs, but if you really like them, please support me by dropping me a mail to buy the original disk.

Finally, all your comments and feedback is most welcome. Sorry that there is no comments section on this site, but drop me an e-mail instead.
